Welcome.I'm glad you're here...
Finding a counsellor that resonates with you is so important. I provide a safe and insightful perspectives, personal support and reflections as you navigate the changing world we live in. I understand that life happens in a way that is sometimes abrupt and traumatic and at times looking at deeper patterns can be helpful. Whether you are looking for solutions or asking questions, my intention is that you are able to find clarity and a sense of peace on your journey throughout your work with me.
Counselling with the right fit counsellor can begin a journey of personal reflection, healing and growth. Whatever you have experienced throughout your life, my approach to counselling is gentle and precise. As a registered clinical counsellor, I believe in strengths based interventions and relational therapies which address attachment and promote an inner awareness of self through art and somatic insights.
Together, we can look at the difficulties you are experiencing and work out how best to heal and move through them. Through the use of art and by accessing the wisdom of the body, my compassion-focused interventions offer a supportive and restorative perspective.
I am deeply committed to a non-violent and non-judgemental approach to counselling where our defences can be supported in order to integrate. Whether you are looking to process past wounds or address current difficulties, I have many perspectives that offer you a safe and reflective space right here in Nelson BC.
